Rehearsals begin promptly at 7:00 p.m.!  Please plan to arrive early, prepared for rehearsal!
If you know you will be late or unable to attend rehearsal, please contact the
Personnel Managers listed below.

Rehearsals are every Tuesday evening at Joppa Hall on the Harford Community College Campus.  Attendance at dress rehearsals is mandatory.  Watch this site and watch for an email for changes during inclement weather. Here's a quick look at the important dates for this season:

October 6 - PreCarnegie Hall Concert Rehearsal (Tuesday) with choirs and soloist at BAHS
October 10 - Dress rehearsal 1:00

March 5 - Dress Rehearsal
March 6 - 7:30 Concert, 6:30 Call
May 14 - Dress Rehearsal
May 15 - 7:30 Concert, 6:30 Call

So, mark your calenders!  All concerts and dress rehearsals will be at Bel Air High School.  After the December concert we will be off until January.  We are looking forward to a great season of music making.  Please know that your contribution is greatly appreciated!

CARNEGIE HALL CONCERTS:  Please contact Alicia if you have not told her that you will be playing in the October concerts.  The final day for sending bus money is 1 September.  See the attached flyer to submit your bus registration. You may order tickets for the October 18th Carnegie Hall concert in NYC ($30 - $50) at Carnegie Hall's website

RAFFLE: We will be holding another raffle this year!  The prize will be a week at Barrier Island Station, Duck, NC for the week beginning June 19, 2010.  It is at a resort, 2 bedroom, sleeps six and has a full kitchen.  The raffles gained the SSO between $2500 and $3000 in previous years.  With the economy being in the dumps this year, a week at the beach for $5 a ticket could sound pretty good.  We will have tickets available to sell soon.  We need a volunteer to take the lead for selling tickets.

SILENT AUCTION:  We will be holding a Silent Auction during the December concert again this year and are looking for a team to help and someone to take the lead – collecting the items, setting up, collecting money at the end.
