Each May, the SSO provides a "side-by-side" learning experience with talented Harford County Public School students. It gives the students an opportunity to work with a mature orchestra. The SSO musicians also work with the Harford String Orchestra (middle school) and Harford Youth Orchestra (high school).
Sponsorship of the May Susquehanna Symphony Orchestra Side-By-Side concert offers your company much community exposure through print and radio advertisement and in-hall recognition and much entertainment value through concert tickets, and pre-concert and intermission receptions. Sponsorship demonstrates a commitment to the quality of life in Harford County, while entertaining clients, executives and employees in a sophisticated manner.
Band Together, a non-profit organization responsible for placing reconditioned instruments in the hands of over 120 Harford County Public School students unable to afford an instrument of their own. Donated instruments for Band Together are collected at any SSO concert.
