Harford County Cultural Arts Board
The Susquehanna Symphony Orchestra operating budget is supported by a $4000 grant from the Harford County Cultural Arts Board. The Harford County Cultural Arts Board is a government-appointed public commission and a direct extension of the Harford County Council.
The purpose of HCCAB is to act as a county-wide liaison between Harford County’s government, arts organizations and citizens. As grantor, advocate and administrator, HCCAB serves to promote, expand and sustain the rich and diverse cultural heritage of Harford County, Maryland.
Maryland State Arts Council
The Susquehanna Symphony Orchestra operating budget is supported by a $2000 grant from the Maryland State Arts Council, an agency dedicated to cultivating a vibrant cultural community where the arts thrive.
An agency of the Department of Business & Economic Development, the MSAC provides financial support and technical assistance to non-profit organizations, units of government, colleges and universities for arts activities. Funding for the Maryland State Arts Council is also provided by the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.
MetLife Foundation Meet the Composer Grants
The Susquehanna Symphony Orchestra’s meet the composer program is supported by two $250 grants from the Met Life Foundation. Leadership support for Meet The Composer’s MetLife Creative Connections program is generously provided by MetLife Foundation.
