Your Gift Matters

Since 1978, the all‑volunteer Susquehanna Symphony Orchestra has been a beloved Harford County tradition, uniting students, amateurs, and professionals on one stage. Ticket sales cover less than half of our costs, so every dollar you contribute goes straight to rehearsals, guest artists, and community programs—and it’s fully tax‑deductible. Thank you for helping us share maximum music on a minimum budget.

Leave a Musical Legacy

Include the SSO in your will or estate plan to ensure that future generations experience the same magic you enjoy today.

Traditions of opportunity and excellence should be preserved. The SSO has provided Harford County and the region with beautiful music while giving opportunities for local musicians to display their talents and concert-goers to hear master performers from the US and around the world. The orchestra invites you to preserve its rich legacy by providing it with a legacy of your own. Consider including a gift to the SSO as part of your tax and estate planning. Your tax advisor or attorney can assist you in this effort.

Adopt a Percussion Instrument

Looking for a unique way to support the SSO? Adopt a percussion instrument and your support will directly impact our percussion section for years to come.

The Adopt a Percussion Instrument program offers our patrons an opportunity to donate a tangible gift – one that will have your name on it. You can even “test” it out on stage! Visit our Adopt a Percussion page to see the list of instruments that you can help the SSO acquire.
