Originally from Sellersville, PA, Melissa Chrastina, is now a resident of Aberdeen, MD who joined the SSO in 2019 on Viola. She works for Pearson Online and Blended Learning as a Learning Coach Support Trainer. She supports families in the transition to online school, provides them with access to different resources to make the transition smoother, facilitates informational sessions, and moderates a closed Facebook group where parents can build connections with one another.
Why did Melissa join the SSO?
I was an avid musician throughout high school and college, playing in my school and community orchestras. Now that we’re living in Maryland and settled, I am excited to get back to a personal hobby and becoming more involved in the arts community here in Harford County.”
