Megan Miller grew up in Harford County where she first learned of, and experienced playing, in the SSO in a side-by-side concert with the Harford Youth Orchestra. Since graduating from Towson University with a Bachelor’s of Music in Music Performance for the cello, she has returned to the county and become the orchestra manager for the SSO. Megan also has set up a music studio where she gives private cello lessons and works with the Harford String and Youth Orchestras as the cello clinician.
What does Megan like most about the SSO?
One of her favorite things about the SSO, which she noticed right from the beginning, is the sense of community within the orchestra.”
